28A.1The provisions of this clause apply to full-time and regular part-time employees (on a pro rata basis).
28A.2Paid leave entitlement
An employee is entitled to up to3 days bereavement leave on each occasion of the death in Australia of either a member of the employee’s immediate family or household.
28A.3Unpaid bereavement leave
An employee may take unpaid bereavement leave by agreement with the employer.
28A.4Bereavement leave will be granted as follows:
28A.4.1 Where interstate travel is not required
Where interstate travel is not required a Flight Attendant is entitled to 3 days bereavement leave without loss of pay on each occasion, and on production of satisfactory evidence.
28A.4.2 Where a Flight Attendant is required to travel interstate
Where interstate travel is required a Flight Attendant is entitled to 5 days bereavement leave without loss of pay on each occasion, and on production of satisfactory evidence.
